FOUNDER
Daniel, The Founder - Prior to the launch of D27, Daniel’s professional life centered on redevelopment of commercial real estate in Portland, where he particularly enjoyed the creative process inherent in adaptive reuse projects. Daniel now brings creative approaches to philanthropy.
CATE
PHILANTHROPIC ADVISOR
Cate has worked in organizational and resource development, management and growth strategy, branding and marketing, and public affairs and strategic communications for nearly thirty years. Her expertise runs the gamut from corporate to nonprofit, public to private, and local to global projects. Cate, who founded Gameplan, Inc. in 2012, has enjoyed the challenge and reward of following along with Daniel on his many adventures for over a decade.
BETH
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Beth has worked for and with Daniel as his right-hand person for the past fifteen years. Her career began as a Black Hawk pilot in the Army after graduating from West Point. She handles responsibility with aplomb, embraces challenge, and is always interested in growing, learning and expanding her skills. She is no-nonsense and direct in her communication, ready to roll up her sleeves and make it happen in any situation. Her dog Moxie is the self-proclaimed D27 Office Ambassador.
JOANNA
PROGRAM OFFICER
Joanna joined Gameplan, Inc. in 2021, after working with Daniel in various capacities since 2007. She played a critical role in key development projects, from early conceptual discussions, to communications and PR, to leasing. Joanna is an exceptional speaker, writer, communicator, and skilled manager of people. She is currently putting all those skills to the test, building new ones, and having a blast raising teenagers
KELSEY
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Kelsey joined Gameplan, Inc. in 2012 and has had ever-growing responsibilities for a wide range of clients. Kelsey now provides communications and operating support for the D27 Foundation and is a versatile and organized team member. She is known for her get-it-done work ethic and calm and steady presence. Kelsey’s 6-year-old daughter Ada is a much-esteemed team member as well, and virtual meetings are more enjoyed by all on days when she doesn’t have school.
