GRANTS
SNAPSHOT
The D27 Foundation is proud to partner with FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression), an organization dedicated to defending the rights of free speech and free thought—core pillars of a free and open society. Through education, advocacy, and legal support, FIRE promotes a culture that protects and respects these essential freedoms.
FOCUS AREA
Our core focus is strengthening civil society, which we see as the intersection of culture, ethics, and governance. We support civics education, ethical journalism, free expression, First Amendment protections, property rights, tax policy, net neutrality, and statesmanship—each contributing to greater transparency, centrism, and social stability.
FOUNDERS INTERESTS
While civil society is our primary focus, the foundation also supports a range of dynamic interests including the arts and arts education, wildlife and environmental conservation, health and wellness, and animal welfare. We prioritize local initiatives and are especially drawn to those that reflect our commitment to shared values, civil discourse, and the greater good.
PROCESS
D27 holds one grant cycle each year. Applications are by invitation only and due in August, with decisions announced in December. We do not accept unsolicited proposals.
